Forbes has released this year’s list of the 50 highest paid athletes around the world. This year’s athletes had combined earnings of $1.4 billion. According to Forbes, the athlete’s total earnings are “derived from salaries, bonuses, prize money, appearance fees, licensing and endorsement income in the 12 months ending May 1.”

Here’s who made the Top 10 and their earnings…

1. Tiger Woods – Despite being the former No.1 golfer in the world who is now ranked 13th and losing at least $50 in annual earnings over the past two years, Woods is still at the top of the list. Claiming the spot with no contest, Woods stacked a whopping $75 million over the past 12 months.

2. Kobe Bryant – With a salary that’s already $4 million more than any other NBA player and recently acquired endorsement deals with Mecedes-Benz’s Smart Cart and Turkish Airlines, Bryant locked his spot with $53 million stacks.  He leads the pack of the other 14 basketball players that made the cut.

3. LeBron James – The Miami Heat forward earned $48 million over the past 12 months.

4. Roger Federer – Swiss professional tennis player, $47 Million

5. Phil Mickelson – American professional golfer, $46.5 Million

6. David Beckham – English footballer (American soccer), $40 Million

7. Cristiano Ronaldo – Portuguese footballer (American soccer), $38 Million

8. Alex Rodriguez – Dominican American professional baseball player, $35 Million

9. Michael Schumacher – German race car driver, $34 Million

10. Lionel Messi – Argentine footballer (American soccer), $32.3 Million.
