If the Ray Rice case wasn’t enough to grab the attention of the NFL and change the domestic violence policy, well here comes another one.

Carolina Panthers Greg Hardy was found guilty by a North Carolina judge for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Hardy was excused from the practice, but is said to return to the team and play in Sunday’s upcoming game against the Detroit Lions. Panthers owner issued a statement at his awards dinner, “I stand firmly against domestic violence, plain and simple,” Richardson said. “To those who would suggest that we’ve been too slow to act, I ask that you consider not too be too quick to judge. Over the course of our 20 years, we have worked extremely hard to build an organization of integrity.”
