Teen Girls Kill Brother

Family altercation ends in death…

Columbia County Police, in Florida, will be charging 15 year-old Misty and 11 year-old Nicole Kornegay for the shooting death of their 16 year-old brother.

The girls were captured and arrested by police after being spotted at a local Dollar General. Police reports state that the girls had ran away from home a day before the investigation began for the shooting. The parents were out of town during the killing and have been charged for child neglect and failure to supervise their children. According to reports, Misty told police that her brother had beaten her in the hours leading up to the shooting, so she used her parents handgun to shoot her brother Damien Kornegay.

Police also say they found a 3 year-old child alone on the property and is currently in the custody of the state.
