“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” returned to VH1 last night with an eye-opening seventh season. Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Mimi Faust, Stevie J, Karlie Redd, Yung Joc, Tommie, Escuelita, Jessica Dime, and Sierra all reintroduced themselves to the viewers with a new outlook on life and, for some, the continuation of drama. Two new faces have been added to the fold: Jamaican artist Spice and reality television veteran Erica Mena. This season’s first episode revealed that we are about to experience a bumpy ride as Season 7 get on its way.

During last nights episode, Kirk Frost revealed that he finally took the DNA test and that HE IS THE FATHER of Jasmine’s son. He finally got the guts to tell his estranged wife Rasheeda, but the Pressed owner wasn’t enthused after hearing the news. Side note…STACKS Magazine gave our readers a hint of tea last year and plus some. If you care to read it, check it out HERE.

Firecracker Tommie is giving us more of her family dynamic this season. Although the relationship with her mother seems to have taken a turn for the better, the sibling rivalry with her sister Versace is clearly toxic. The two ladies get into a heated argument during a sit-down where Tommie confronts her sister about calling the cops on her.

Reggae dancehall queen, Spice, is a refreshing new addition to the cast. She’s since moved to Atlanta to expand her music reach and seems to have a cool relationship with the other ladies. Besides a performance and a twerk session, Spice didn’t give us much on the first episode. But, we will keep watching to see if that fiery Caribbean side have to pop-off on one of the cast mates.

Erica Mena, who’s no stranger to the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise, is in Atlanta to restart her music career. But, it seems that she’s in the city to start some sh*t between Stevie J and his artist Escuelita. With her history of friendship with the Panamanian Princess, it will be interesting to see if she turns from “friend” or “foe.”

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” is bringing it this season with the fights, reads, and snatching of wigs. Will you be tuned in?
